Editorial standards and corrections policy
This page defines the public standard used to prepare, review, update and, when necessary, withdraw Axis Economics publications.

Editorial independence
Research conclusions are determined by the available evidence, declared methods and stated limitations. Commercial relationships must not purchase a predetermined conclusion. Any material sponsor or funding relationship is disclosed on the publication page.
Sources and evidence
Quantitative claims should identify a traceable source, period, definition and material exclusion. Primary and official sources are preferred where suitable. Conflicting evidence and comparability limits are not hidden to create a cleaner narrative.
Review and data checks
Every publication identifies its author. Where a separate reviewer or data checker participated, that role is named in the publication record. A blank reviewer field must not be represented as independent peer review.
Corrections, revisions and withdrawal
Typographical changes that do not affect meaning may be corrected without a new version. Changes to figures, conclusions, scope or method require an updated date and revision record. A publication may be withdrawn when its central evidence is materially unreliable; the URL should remain available with a clear withdrawal notice.
Funding and conflicts
Each report records its funding position and any conflict that a reasonable reader could consider relevant. “No external funding” or “no conflict declared” is stated only when it is factually accurate.
Artificial intelligence
Any material use of generative or analytical AI in research, drafting, translation or data processing is described in the report disclosure. Human authors remain responsible for source verification, calculations, interpretation and the published text.
Data and code
Underlying data or code is shared when licensing, confidentiality and practical constraints permit. When it cannot be shared, the report should still describe transformations, material exclusions and reproducibility limits.
Citation and reuse
Readers may cite public reports using the preferred citation shown on the report page. Third-party source material remains subject to its own copyright and licensing terms. Charts or extracts should retain the Axis Economics attribution and report URL.

If you identify a data, source, calculation or presentation error, send the report URL and verifiable evidence through the contact form. Reports are assessed by materiality; substantive changes are reflected in the updated date and revision record.
